About John

Harvard alumni John Gillman was raised in the Bronx in a typical suburban family unit, the son of a stay-at-home mom and a United States Navy mechanic. He attended church on Sundays and loved nothing more than playing hard, studying hard, and working hard, like every other typical American kid.He was, as experts put it, a "late bloomer", with his powers not manifesting until middle school. Despite this setback, John proved to be a super student, his powers enabling him to memorize anything he found interesting—and setting him up for success.When John joined Vought's legal department, not only was he the youngest lawyer on the team, he was the youngest to ever pass the bar exam!Mr. Gillman has been the top attorney at Vought for 20 years, and is best known for his bombastic—but effective—courtroom persona and his trial record: he has never lost a case.
